Production Process

A stable abrasive product starts from a controlled production process. Zhongxing Metal manages every key step from raw material inspection to finished product packaging.

Raw Material Selection

We select qualified steel scrap, alloy materials and steel wire according to product requirements. Raw materials are inspected before production to help ensure stable chemical composition and final product performance.

Melting and Atomization

For steel shot production, raw materials are melted in medium-frequency induction furnaces and formed through centrifugal atomization. This process helps achieve better particle shape and stable internal structure.

Screening and Classification

After initial forming, abrasive particles go through air separation, shape selection, rust removal and multi-stage screening. This helps control particle size distribution and remove unqualified particles.

Heat Treatment

Quenching and tempering are key processes for controlling hardness, toughness and service life. Proper heat treatment helps improve impact resistance and reduce premature breakage during repeated blasting cycles.

Crushing and Sizing for Steel Grit

Steel grit is produced through controlled crushing and fine sizing. Different hardness ranges are available to meet various surface preparation, rust removal and descaling requirements.

Cut Wire Processing

Cut wire shot is produced by cutting high-quality steel wire or stainless steel wire into uniform particles. According to customer requirements, the particles can be used as-cut or further conditioned into rounded shapes.

Packaging and Storage

Finished products are packed with flexible packaging options according to customer requirements. Proper storage and packaging help protect product quality during transportation and warehouse handling.
